Movember 2026

A large group of College residents are taking part in Movember this year, in honour of their friend and fellow College resident, Nic Chadwick. Nic has left a legacy at the College that touches even those who didn't know him. It is being run in conjunction with Students of Natural and Agricultural Sciences (SNAGS), a student-run club at UWA for all students studying in degrees associated with Agriculture, Animal/Plant Biology, Earth Sciences and the Environment.

SNAGS and St George’s are taking part to get behind regional men this November and harvest season, who have one of the highest rates of suicide in any demographic. It's an unfortunate reality - we all know of someone, whether it be suicide or a male-specific illness - Dads, Brothers, Uncles, Sons, Nephews, Cousins, Mates. These problems are not just male specific. They affect everyone - Wives, Daughters, Girlfriends, Sisters, Mums; the entire community.

To find out more or to support our residents as they grow a mo or move (walk, run or cycle 60km in November) to remember the 60 men lost every hour to suicide globally, click on the button below.
